Every year like clockwork I order more than a few white shirts. Depending on the season, spring/summer I order short sleeve t's, tanks, or racerback tops. Come fall/winter of course long sleeve white cotton crewnecks and the classic wardrobe must have the white button up.

My all time forever favorite is the Gap Favorite T-Shirt, not the one that they currently sell although the silhouette is still the same. The cotton fabric used to produce the shirt has change. Forever ago, they used this luxurious cotton so soft and supple, now it's just meh. I use to order them by the dozens like a uniform. I mean they were GOOD!!!!

Now that I am thinking about it I never really found another favorite. I am still on the lookout for that one simple white shirt to become my new forever favorite.

Now, I'm not gonna lie, on the hurt for that said new favorite I have found a few that I would consider noteworthy. Either way favorite or noteworthy a basic white shirt is anything but basic. They can be paired with any and everything, dressed up or dressed down.

So, whatever style of white shirt you choose, tank, t-shirt, racerback, crewneck, long or short sleeve they are a definite must in your wardrobe.
